Orientator

Fed up with running in the same direction as everyone else? The 10K Orientator combines a 10k mass start running race with electronic check points and a map. No compass or previous orienterring experience required!
Using the map provided and the electronic widget, visit each of the check points in any order.
You will invariably be running the same route as other athletes and in the same direction but, will you be able to keep up with them and are they going the right way?

The Orientator is fast selling out to be a great race: mixing good hardy cross country running with a blend of map reading. Don't be put off as there's no need for expert compass reading but instead just a smidgeon of map awareness and fast shoes.
Well organised and a fun run. The organisers were friendly and the route/markers well positioned. Will run again.
