Technical training top

We've decided not to sell cotton t-shirts for each event, but instead offer these fancy training tops. What do you think? The idea is that because few people wear the cotton t-shirts, we hoped instead athletes might invest in something a little more stylish and useful.

Snow+Rock G3 February 09

The crisp frost and clear blue skies made for another excellent day of xc running.

After a brief health and safety talk from the race director, 320 runners charged off towards St Martha's back passage and the church.

First athletes [D Rollins M and S Rollins W] cruised the course in just over 40 minutes.

The new chip timing system is proving accurate and very proficient. This, along with free recovery drinks and bananas, now sets the G3 apart from another 10k as a UK top race.

And for those who've pushed themselves to far and need help contact Vida Health for their 20% discount on treatments. more info here

Dear Athlete,

Happy new year from the all about triathlons team.

We hope that your training plans are going to schedule and we look forward to providing you a great year of racing.

To keep up with technology we've started to using electronic chip timing for some events. This frees up our volunteer marshals' time and ensures a more accurate and speedier results service.

Bolt round the Holt: 5k, 10k and half marathon distance. All proceeds for this event go to the GUTS and St Luke's cancer charities. The half marathon distance is an ideal practice for all London marathon runners. 9 April 2009 www.boltholt.co.uk
