The Final Descent from St.Marthas (Church in the background) |
Cold northerly air, but even light clouds made for a very fair course on the third race out of the Runners Need G3 on Saturday. Each race has a different course, all taking in St.Martha's Hill in different directions and loops. This time it was the hardest of the three :

Full tilt down the hill |

A sense of achievement on the day |

cool concentration on the fast long descent |

Taking it at full speed - no fear |
Getting all the way down the hill isn't quite the end of it, there was always the last climb back to the finish - but at least there was a flat part for a bit of recovery
